Hot Stamping

Hot stamping is a popular printing method in which pre-dried ink are transferred to a surface of printed piece at high temperature. Along with foil stamping machines, among the most commonly used tools are dies and foil. Dies can carry high level of detail of images to be transferred to the surface and may be shaped to accommodate the irregularities on the printed piece. Foil printing is often done on leather or paper which giving a distinctive appearance to the printed areas.

Matt / Gloss Lamination

Matt and gloss lamination give a different effect. Matt lamination will display the colors of products in a paler and slightly more dull look, but it can give you a high class, sophisticated feel. On the other hand, gloss lamination can be more eye-catching and grab attention with a bright, shiny finish. It also offers a high impact and more protection to the product which could be very useful if you want your product to be long lasting.

Emboss / Deboss

Embossing is when you raise an image or a logo off the paper of your printed piece, it creates a three-dimensional effect that emphasizes the particular area of your design. People often emboss a company logo, illustrations or patterns. Debossing is the opposite of embossing as you are creating an indent in the material you are printing. It creates a depressed effect that leaves a imprint of the image on your printed piece.

UV Spot

UV spot printing is known for being environmentally friendly. It is the most effective on color-printed products to enhance product shine, protect its color, keep moisture and damage out to preserve the products. It has the effect of highlighting and drawing attention from audiences, providing the additional visual stimulus of having varied textures on a surface, which can improve the perception of the reader.
